2025 Scholarship Application Deadline - May 15th

GCGMS has a history of awarding scholarships each year to deserving young men and women pursuing higher education.The Society sponsors an annual college scholarship fundraising golf tournament and, on occasion, other select fundraising events. It is because of the generosity of our members that we are able to provide this opportunity to these young men and women.

In 1992, the Society established a college scholarship program for deserving college students pursuing energy industry related careers in engineering, science, measurement, instrumentation, etc.

In 2009, the scholarship program was named in memory of E. Loy Upp, the first Society president, after his passing.The program annually awards between $5,000 and $10,000 in scholarship money.

The Society has a history of awarding scholarships each year to deserving young men and women pursuing higher education. The deadline for 2025 is May 15th.
